On
the last few miles of your journey to Gwenoldy you will probably
have sped into Wales on the A55 Expressway, turning off to travel
through the delightful small town of Caerwys and the pretty Wheeler
valley, passing an 18th century water powered paper mill, now a craft
and antique centre. Next, crossed a bridge over the route of the sadly
long deceased country railway branch line and started to follow a twisting
lane constantly climbing towards the uppermost ridges of the Clwydian
hills.
Spotting our Swallow logo you will have turned onto the track leading
past farm buildings before seeing the Swallow again on the
entrance to the property. Turning the last corner presents both Coed
y Mynydd Isaf farmhouse and your holiday home of Gwenoldy set against
the simply stunning view of the Clwydians. |
