'a perfect cottage in a perfect location'
'self-catering simply doesn't get any better than this' - read more
Gwenoldy (Swallows' Rest in Welsh) is a luxurious cottage, converted from an 18th century stone-built barn. Its setting is spectacular, with glorious views across a secluded valley. We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and enjoy a wonderfully peaceful lifestyle.
Gwenoldy offers every comfort, from a woodburning stove to broadband internet access, for up to four people. Children are welcome. Snowdonia, Chester and the North Wales beaches are close at hand, and local amenities include excellent pubs serving good food, a crafts and antique centre with a popular restaurant, and many country shops and sporting venues.
As we are surrounded by sheep farms, pets are not accepted. However, we can help you to arrange high quality accommodation for cats and dogs nearby.
You can watch a professional video of the local countryside on our nearby page.
